Dear LifePoint Church Family,

I wanted to provide a recap of the recent Future Church business meeting on November 2, where we came together to discuss the vision for LifePoint’s future home.

We began with an opening prayer, followed by a devotional where I shared from John 17:1-26, reminding us that our mission extends beyond our church walls. I emphasized our upward connection to God and outward connection to people, reflecting on our church's core mission, thread, and values:

Betsy Greene then shared valuable resources, now available on our website.

LifePoint Academy: LPA Principal, Denice Raphael, announced that LPA will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025. She invited us to contribute pictures and historical details to honor this milestone.

Future Church Vision: We presented our vision for a future campus, outlining our collective needs, wants, and dreams for this space.

 

• Needs: Campus Sign, Auditorium, Large Lobby, Bathrooms, Kitchen, Multi-use Fellowship Hall, Parent Room, LP Kids Space (with bathrooms), Youth and Young Adult Spaces, Adult Classrooms, Green Room, AV Support, Storage, Parking, Outreach Area, Offices, Accessibility Features, Sensory Sensitive Accommodations, Safety Enhancements.

• Wants: Café, Ministry Workspace, Shaded Outdoor Area, Neutral Meeting/Conference Room, Small Chapel.

• Dreams: Outdoor and Indoor Play Areas, Room with Laundry and Showers, Storage/Workspace Warehouse.

The meeting concluded with a closing prayer as we collectively sought God’s guidance for this journey.
